    No more words..
    I fully agree with everyone!
An opinion is one thing, insulting is another.
I would not like to see these kinds of things again here in the forum , makes me extremely sad.
Hey are friends, players who do not know visually , more than deserve the continued respect.
That it comes mainly from our Dev's expensive.
I am very upset about the attitudes of gleeful !

I fell the need to share my opinion towards this comment.

Hello Glee. About your complains about the game feautures, the only solution is quite simple: if you don't enjoy playing, then stop playing. You don't have to agresivly criticize the work of others and demoralise the other players.

Regarding your problem with the habitat sizes, small habitats are for small animals so that's why they are build as aquarioms, to allow you to see them properly while medium habitats are for medium sized animals that you can also see properly without having them completely out of water. That's why they don't need an aquarium glass cover, just a delimitation of space, and the number of squares ocupied don't need to get bigger. And about the large sized habitats, if i'm not wrong those really are bigger and occupies 3x3 squares instead of 2x2. I'm not sure tho so if anyone has a large habitat and knows, please give us the right answer. But even if they don't occupie a bigger space, their border and objects are smaller wich makes it to look bigger, so it makes it propper for bigger animals. So i fail to see your problem with the definition of "size" for the habitats. It is the size that vary, not something else.

About your insult towards Zoomumba comunity, it was completely not needed and innapropiate. Just because you fail to see the beauty of the game doesn't mean that others should see it the same way.
Saying that Ocean World is a backward step it's completely wrong because it's impossible. The main game haven't changed at all. You still have the same lands and animals and everything is the same, they just added something in plus, and if you don't like that "plus" you can just ignor it and play the game as it was before. So it can not be a backstep as the game is still the same, but just with something more.

About your last comment that was insulting towards the dev team, I am very curious what is this "experience" you are talking about. You just assumed for sure that the team have not work hard for this. I don't know what makes you to say that but for the players who actually belived you, i am a student in both programming and web design and also an amateur artist so I do know, from real experience that a project that look simple can take a very long time. I know when i made my first simple programms, how long they took me and how happy i was when i realised them and they worked, even if they were simple programs. And I don't even know why you say it is simple..if you just think a little about all the new things, habitats, decorations etc. you can realise that it would take pretty long to create and implement all that. I don't know what you have expected, or what have you expected from the dev team..i mean you said that no one worked extra hours or in the just assumed that with no legit proof or explication, but even if that would be true, what do you expect? To completely give up their free time and personal lives and work full time for the game? They are humans, not robots. They can't just continuously work. And don't forget that in the past years they added a lot of new things for the main game too. They didn't worked only to Ocean World.

I am sure that the team actually worked hard for this and they deserve appreciation. Sure, constructive criticize is also good but you were just arrogant and complaind about things that were completely fine. Not to mention about insulting the players and calumnying the dev team, saying they didn't put effort in this when obviously you have no clue about game developing. It makes me sad to see that some people just want to spread negativity.

I hope you have a good day and that you will think about all this matters. :)

P.S. Yes it can take pretty long to gather materials and create the new thing but if you just want to rapidly fill your zoo without putting any effort makes me think that you actually don't know much about hard-working.

P.P.S. I remember when I was on the old romanian forum, where insulting someone would have ment being banned from the forum for a short period, and continuing insulting after that would have ment permanent banning.

I made the decision not to edit the comments nor ban the user in this case as I did not want anyone to think this was a retaliatory action for being negative about Ocean World.

All feedback is important to the Team, whether it is positive or negative as it helps us all to understand the wishes of our players.

However, we do expect all feedback comments to be written in a respectful manner, please, and I can assure you that further insults to our friends here in the game and forum and the Development Team in Hamburg, will not be tolerated and treated as leniently as I have done on this occasion.

Let us now please continue to use this thread in the manner for which it is meant.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

Anyway, I am still liking Ocean World.

The antics and tricks of the little animals/fishes/birds are fascinating to watch and they are all soooooo cute. Yes, it is going to be very time consuming constructing all the new stuff required to keep the little darlings happy - and the visitors, of course, and it will require a steady flow of PPs to build and maintain. But this is all part of the fun of the game.

Thanks again Fluse (hug) and the Dev Team (hug) for all your hard work in developing Ocean World for us.

    Cheers, Beast

    P.S. Good call, Fee (hug)
P.P.S. Quite right too, Carlim (hug)

Sperm whales feeding on algae is far too zany for me, I'm afraid! Then who bit off Captain Ahab's leg, I wonder...

    Hey Kitty

i think that when they were kids (or calves even) their Mummy told them to make sure they eat their greens so they will grow up to be big strong whales like Daddy :p.

As for Captain Ahab though, I guess he went into the tavern a few too many times and ended up a bit legless.

I am working my OW and, thanks to all the build-up of recycling that I was doing before this opened, I have 3 small and 1 medium habitat! Looking good so far. I would like to try for a large tank and was looking at the necessary materials. Each large requires 1 thing that I can't make and I guess I need to win them somehow. How do we win or accumulate these items:
Lg Coral Reef needs 3 Coral; Lg Caribbean Island needs 3 Coconuts; Large Water Tank needs 2 Buoys; Lg Pirate Bay needs 3 Cannonballs. I'm trying to figure out which one I should focus on building first but I don't know how to get any of these key items.

THANKS to all of the developers and moderators who work hard to enhance our experience here!

Hi Norma, We get these items as a reward from the collections. Coconuts from the Caribbean Island collection, Cannonballs from Pirate Bay collection etc..

    Hi Norma

Thank you for your klnd words. Your appreciation will be passed on to the Team in Hamburg. Our friend Lady has given us an excellent answer as to where the raw materials for the large habitats come from.

    Hi, Norma!
In order to build a large habitat of any kind, you should first have and exploit a small or a medium one of the same kind. Otherwise you cannot get the special items that come with the collections. So the strategy is to aim at building all types of habitats available - their small or medium versions first. And then you wait. It's a matter of time and luck from here on. You will see in which direction those will lead you.
I have all types of habitats and I have collected one cannonball and two coconuts so far, so I am going for a large Caribbean and a large Pirate Bay and, waiting and waiting, I am trying to get from the Recycling Centre all the necessary rare materials for those two - logs, screws, seedlings, powdery sand. The thing is that the Pirate Bay will be good for the Giant Squid but the Sperm Whales won't like the Caribbean very much, they like the simple tank and the Arctic. On the other hand, I have all the rope and Indian rubber for a large water tank, just waiting for two buoys and they can come from the collections at any moment. So, we'll see what happens first.
And I've just got two icicles from the Arctic habitats! :D No metal bars and no crystals though... :(

There is something that Glee is right about - Ocean World is extremely expensive to maintain. Since I have had it, my PP bank balance has been a flat zero, although I have doubled my efforts to collect the income from the stalls regularly. When I add large habitats, my resources will rapidly dwindle. I doubt that a low-level player could cope with more than half a dozen enclosures.
However, that is not my point. What annoys me is that it is not as rewarding (in terms of XP and attractiveness) as expected for the price we pay (in terms of time, effort and PP). The XP we get for tending our animals there are disappointing and the XP in the animal-collection rewards are negligible.
I think the Dev Team could do something about that discrepancy; a good challenge deserves a good reward, however arbitrary and zany all the figures and numbers in the game may be.

    Thanks for the kindness, Scorpion!
I have one more point to make, though it's not a big deal; the Devs are probably aware of it and will fix it when they find some time.

The yellow indicator band under the icon for upgrades of the habitat says that I have at least twice as many pearls as needed for the next upgrade while practically I have none. It probably reflects the status of my pawprint stock. It's no problem, as I said; I know how many pearls I have collected and how many I need but still, it is an inaccuracy, that's why I am reporting it.

    Hello there,
To be honest OW is a total disappointment at the time. The variety of animals available in the shop is poor, the promised OW safari is still not launched, you need to give an arm and a leg to recycle the needed materials to build a cage for the animals, which takes a lot of time and money, also you can't transfer animals that you already have in your main zoo to the OW, even tough they are available in the OW shop for instance the crab and the blue-footed booby, so when there's a daily task including these animals, even though I have them in my main zoo, I can not finish the task, because they are not in the OW and the wave sign beneath the animal image that appears in the task list makes it obligational for the animal to be in the OW.
However I really enjoy your game and I really hope that as the time passes you will be able to fix the problems and improve the experience of OW. I know time is needed to make a new launched feature work properly, but I thought it would be useful for the game crew to know about some of my concerns.
    Thank you.
